Journey to the West is built to collect as little as possible. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking of any kind.

What stays on your device

Your reading positions, bookmarks, settings and downloaded chapters are stored only on your device (and in your own device backups). I have no access to them.

Purchases

Chapter purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. I never see your payment details. When you buy a chapter, the app sends the purchase's signed App Store receipt to my server for the sole purpose of verifying the purchase and delivering the chapter's content. Like almost all servers, mine keeps routine technical logs (such as IP addresses) for a short time to keep the service running; I build no profiles and sell nothing to anyone.

What I collect

Nothing else. No personal information is collected, stored or shared.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
